Light Forearm Workout




For context, it's late and too cold to get a workout in before bed (30 degrees in the garage), and the gym would be an option but roads are likely as slick as snot. I decided to grab a bench, some dumbells, and curl bar.


I figured I'd record a video, hoping it would be decent, but knowing it's not going to be impressive. However, since most people don't focus on training forearms, I figure it wouldn't hurt to post this video for those who don't focus on forearms. If this is you, you can see how simple it is in this video.


Forearms definitely grow larger, but slower than other most other muscles. Forearms need a lot of stimulation to see growth; I find that they're similar to calves for this reason. In this video, I show various methods to stimulate the forearm muscles.


If I were to do this video again, I'd record in the gym for an improved asthetic, but I think for some of you, you'll find some value by seeing the tempo, rep range and various movements. You can see my forearms go from flat to a decent pump in less than 15 minutes.
