We’re a bit different:
Despite being a small business, we’re patriotic and we dream big. Our most overarching goal is to contribute to the awakening of the American mind, body and spirit, that’s been placed into a significant state of constant health-risk and nihilism.
It’s evident that the slow-creep of modernity’s deteriorating nature on the fabric of the citizen and our nation has been eating away at the mind, body and spirit. As a result, more and more Americans are leading sedentary lifestyles— equivalent to being “led to slaughter.” Within this subset of Americans, are those that both, wittingly and unwittingly prioritize their digital identity above their true identity. This is not good for many reasons; one being one of the most fundamental reasons: we have a tendency to not use our bodies nearly as much as we need to, to remain healthy.
The body must move. It must have the ability to be physically challenged, and if it’s not, the mind and the spirit of the person will also atrophy.
Why would Americans choose to not consider the health of their future selves? To not be conscientious about aging with grace? Likely, because it’s human nature to take the path of least resistance. We struggle with delayed gratification, we want to be comfortable, we often choose to avoid whatever is difficult. We don’t challenge ourselves to do hard things like we once did. This must change and it most definitely can, if we keep the spirit in us alive. To do this, we must give our bodies necessary demands because the digital age will gradually deteriorate the otherwise healthy person until sickness gets the best of him or her. Fortunately, we do have powerful tools that we’ve inherited, like virtue and useful philosophies. For instance, let us consider what Marcus Aurelius has written:
“At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed, tell yourself: “I have to go to work — as a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I'm going to do what I was born for — the things I was brought into the world to do? Or is this what I was created for? To huddle under the blankets and stay warm?
So you were born to feel “nice”? Instead of doing things and experiencing them? Don’t you see the plants, the birds, the ants and spiders and bees going about their individual tasks, putting the world in order, as best they can? And you’re not willing to do your job as a human being? Why aren’t you running to do what your nature demands? You don’t love yourself enough. Or you’d love your nature too, and what it demands of you.”
― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
The point is, we, and our nation are better off by doing the difficult and necessary things. Countless aspects of our daily lives have become infiltrated with aspect of comfort, thus making us softer and less capable of the real-world, but what good can come of this when, say, the power goes out for an extended amount of time, or some sort of catastrophic event occurs? Our ability to overcome the basics of survival are radically decreased when we flood our desires with comfort. What greatness was ever a result of comfort? None.
With that said, most people know that losing weight, getting stronger, or just simply getting the body back into a better state of health isn’t so easy, and there’s countless excuses that are invoked by the mind as to why we don’t. But with Warrior-X PT you can rest assured in that you’ll rediscover that “warrior sprit” again— it’s in you, and together, we’ll "chisel" it out and set you on a greatly improved path that'll make your future-self happy. Your family, friends, and our nation, will also thank you for that.
